doTERRA Unveils Detoxification Line and New Product Formats at 2025 Convention

doTERRA introduced five new products at its annual Convention in Utah, marking the company’s expansion into detoxification support and convenient application formats. The September 17-20 event in Salt Lake City drew thousands of the company’s independent distributors, known as Wellness Advocates, and doTERRA fans alike.

The centerpiece of the launches was RevitaZen, a new product line focused on supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes. The line includes both an essential oil blend and a dietary supplement, reflecting doTERRA’s dual approach to wellness through aromatherapy and nutritional products.

New Detoxification Products Target Daily Support

The RevitaZen Detoxification Blend combines six essential oils: tangerine, rosemary, geranium, ginger, juniper berry, and cilantro. According to the product documentation, the blend is designed for internal use to support liver, kidney, and digestive tract function. The 15 mL bottle contains oils that have been selected based on preclinical research for their potential to aid the body’s natural detoxification processes.

Complementing the essential oil blend, RevitaZen+ Advanced Organ Detoxification Complex delivers botanicals in dual-chamber capsule form. Each capsule contains 240 mg of a botanical blend featuring black cumin seed oil standardized to 3 mg thymoquinone, artichoke leaf extract with 15 mg cynarin, and milk thistle seed extract providing 40 mg silybin. The capsules also include 65 mg of the RevitaZen essential oil blend plus cumin seed oil. The supplement underwent testing for heavy metals, pesticides, and microbials, and the formulation excludes dairy, soy, and wheat.

Stick Format Addresses Convenience Demands

doTERRA also launched PastTense Stick + Sweet Gum, reformulating its existing PastTense blend into a mess-free stick application. The product combines nine essential oils—wintergreen, lavender, peppermint, frankincense, cilantro, roman chamomile, marjoram, basil, and rosemary—with sweet gum essential oil, which contains beta-caryophyllene.

The 10-gram stick format allows targeted application to areas like the forehead, temples, and back of the neck without the potential mess of liquid oils.

Carrier Oil Addition Expands Product Range

The company added USDA Certified Organic castor oil to its carrier oil lineup. The 300 mL cold-pressed oil, packaged in amber glass, is positioned for use in castor oil pack protocols and as a carrier for essential oil dilution. The oil is hexane-free and tested to meet the company’s quality standards.

Castor oil’s primary component, ricinoleic acid, is a rare omega-9 fatty acid that comprises approximately 90% of the oil’s fatty acid content.

Market Context and Product Positioning

The detoxification-focused launches come as the wellness industry continues to see consumer interest in products supporting the body’s natural cleansing processes. Unlike many detox products that promise rapid results, doTERRA positions the RevitaZen line for daily, gentle support rather than aggressive cleansing protocols.

The stick format for PastTense reflects broader industry trends toward convenient, portable application methods that eliminate the need for users to handle bottles and droppers. Several essential oil companies have introduced similar formats in recent years as they seek to make aromatherapy more accessible to mainstream consumers.

The addition of organic castor oil aligns with renewed interest in traditional remedies, particularly castor oil packs, which have seen increased attention on social media platforms. The 300 mL size accommodates the larger quantities typically used in pack applicatio
